Luella Bartley

Must have style book by Luella Bartley - just released!
"Luella" launched in 1999 with such collections entitled "Daddy, I want a Pony" and "Daddy, who were the Clash?" Luella's designs were influenced from the British music scene, always quirky, punk inspired, and distinctly English. In 2002 Luella Bartley added an accessories division, which I was so honored to launch to the US, when working with Showroom Seven. I will forever love "The Gisele" bag, a staple in my closet for life!
Designs adored and worn by such celebrity fashion mavens as Alexa Chung, Pixie Geldof, Zooey Deschanel, Chloe Sevigny and Kate Moss.
Very sadly and abruptly, in November 2009 Luella ceased trading due to the withdraw of her financial backer.
We're all crossing our fingers and toes for a brand revival - but until then for all you fans - Luella just published a book titled Luella's Guide to English Style, which celebrates it girl brit style and explains how to acquire it. What a perfect Christmas gift!
