Converse

me & my chucks

Check out the new Converse NYC Store! The universally known, always in trend, and iconic sneaker brand Converse, has just opened their doors in the heart of Soho, with a sizeable shop dedicated to NYC's boroughs & neighborhoods, and Converse's athletic heritage - all with a punk rock twist. You'll find an extensive showcase of premium brand collaborations including Chuck Taylor, John Varvatos, One Star and Star Chevron (including luxe styles in leather & suede), a brand new collection of apparel and accessories centered around denim and sportswear, an express pick-up window for chuck shoppers who already know there size, AND a customization center = A TOTAL SHOPPING EXPERIENCE! My fav is the american flag wall installation of 648 pairs of red, white and blue chuck taylors - leave it up to Converse to always produce something uber cool! All I can say is that I never leave home without my staple black hi-tops with tonal black laces, classic blue chucks, and my white low-tops with mustard yellow laces - all now worn into perfection!!

Vanessa Bruno

J'adore french fashion designer Vanessa Bruno!
Known for her effortless and Parisian luxe casual designs - all so ethereal feeling, beautiful-and-completely wearable. Would love to glide thru my house as Vanessa's muse Lou Doillon does, in the above pics! Worried you can't afford it - then check out her contemporary lower priced diffusion line, Vanessa Bruno Athe.

'60s

Miss Alexa inspired by Francoise Hardy

Lara Stone channelling the late Sharon Tate

It's all about the 60's look! - an era of such drop dead sex appeal when it came to beauty. The bombshell components: tousled locks, smoldering eyes with that come hither cat eye sweep of black eyeliner, pillowy & pouty yummy lips & a grown-up kind of confidence - little girls can't pull this off! Plus, this look will surely carry into next S/S. In my makeup case you'll find the Chanel automatic liquid eyeliner - Ecriture de Chanel in color Noir.
