Celine

my chic vintage Celine red/orange leather mini bag with gold hardware

My absolute fave designer & collection of the year 2010 is hands down Phoebe Philo for the french luxury house Celine! Also just named designer of the year, at the recent British Fashion Awards. The shapeless bold orange ankle length dress above with poncho and gold metal tone necklace from her Resort 2011 Collection, is a head-to-toe look of the perfect mix of her new take on minimalism mixed with elements of old world charm. Her retro touches, pop colors, perfection in details, and always managing to keep the classiness and refinement of Celine - makes you keep yearning for more!

L'AGENCE

Loving L'AGENCE! It might be french for "The Agency" but it was created by famed agent Margaret Maldonado and her crew of stylists in LA, not France - even thou the line seems soooo french! All looks exude a confident, laid back, low-key style with a sporty-luxe twist. A must have for me is the charcoal herringbone ankle pant with front slash pockets and rear flap pocket with zippers at the elastic ankle cuffs - the perfect easy chic winter staple! Angelina Jolie looks so holiday gorgeous in her L'AGENCE signature black velvet pantsuit with beaded top - tis the season for velvet!

Converse

me & my chucks

Check out the new Converse NYC Store! The universally known, always in trend, and iconic sneaker brand Converse, has just opened their doors in the heart of Soho, with a sizeable shop dedicated to NYC's boroughs & neighborhoods, and Converse's athletic heritage - all with a punk rock twist. You'll find an extensive showcase of premium brand collaborations including Chuck Taylor, John Varvatos, One Star and Star Chevron (including luxe styles in leather & suede), a brand new collection of apparel and accessories centered around denim and sportswear, an express pick-up window for chuck shoppers who already know there size, AND a customization center = A TOTAL SHOPPING EXPERIENCE! My fav is the american flag wall installation of 648 pairs of red, white and blue chuck taylors - leave it up to Converse to always produce something uber cool! All I can say is that I never leave home without my staple black hi-tops with tonal black laces, classic blue chucks, and my white low-tops with mustard yellow laces - all now worn into perfection!!

'60s

Miss Alexa inspired by Francoise Hardy

Lara Stone channelling the late Sharon Tate

It's all about the 60's look! - an era of such drop dead sex appeal when it came to beauty. The bombshell components: tousled locks, smoldering eyes with that come hither cat eye sweep of black eyeliner, pillowy & pouty yummy lips & a grown-up kind of confidence - little girls can't pull this off! Plus, this look will surely carry into next S/S. In my makeup case you'll find the Chanel automatic liquid eyeliner - Ecriture de Chanel in color Noir.

Kate Moss Topshop AW10

Don't miss out on the final full collection for Kate Moss Topshop - November 2nd!
In 2007 Kate Moss and Topshop collaborated to design an eclectic capsule collection of effortlessly cool, signature pieces, inspired by Kate's wardrobe and her personal sense of iconic style. 14 Collections later, Topshop has announced that the Kate Moss AW10 collection will be her last - better stock up now...
I still get oodles of compliments on my denim skinnies purchased from her first ever collection, embroidered with little personal touches - reflecting Kate's tattoos, with swallows on the waistband and heart shapes on the hems. Btw, I'm sooo obsessed with the above style pic of the 'Winter Paisley Cape'!
Vogue: Just what every girl wants in her wardrobe - a smidgen of boho, alot of rock-chic, a touch of elegance and several megawatts of sex!
